What does the SonarHub add to my display?
The SonarHub is a network sounder module that adds StructureScan HD side and down imaging plus CHIRP fishfinding to compatible B&G, Simrad and Lowrance multifunction displays, all viewed through your existing screen.
Which transducers can I use with the SonarHub?
The SonarHub supports StructureScan HD transducers on the black 9-pin port and CHIRP or narrow-band transducers on the blue 7-pin port. It works with a wide range of Lowrance and AIRMAR transducers, and the StructureScan port also accepts the ForwardScan forward-looking transducer.
Do I need a separate network module?
No. The SonarHub has three built-in Ethernet ports, so you can network it with your display and other Ethernet devices without buying an extra networking module.
What power supply does the SonarHub need?
The SonarHub runs on a 12 or 24 VDC supply, with an operating range of 9 to 32 VDC. A 4-pin power cable and a fuse with holder are supplied in the box.
Can ForwardScan be added through the SonarHub?
Yes. Connecting a ForwardScan transducer to the SonarHub StructureScan port lets you share forward-looking sonar data with compatible networked displays, while keeping a CHIRP transducer on the separate sonar port.
