Description

The HDS PRO 9 is a 9-inch fishfinder and chartplotter from Lowrance's flagship HDS PRO range, sized for centre consoles and helms where space is tight but performance still matters. Its SolarMAX HD touchscreen stays bright and readable in direct sunlight and through polarised glasses, and a row of programmable keys keeps control easy when the water turns rough.

Supplied without a transducer, it lets you pair the Active Imaging HD or ActiveTarget 2 system that best suits how and where you fish. The unit sits at the heart of a full Lowrance system, with bow-to-stern networking over Ethernet and NMEA 2000, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and touchscreen control of compatible radar, autopilot, Ghost trolling motors and Power-Pole anchors.

Preloaded C-MAP charts and C-MAP Genesis Live real-time mapping help you find productive water and navigate back to it, with upgrade paths to C-MAP DISCOVER, C-MAP REVEAL and Navionics charts.

Does the HDS PRO come with a transducer?
It depends on the version. No Transducer models are supplied as the display unit only, ready to pair with your existing transducer or a separate purchase. Versions listed with Active Imaging HD are supplied with that transducer in the box.
What sonar does the HDS PRO support?
The HDS PRO has two sonar channels supporting Low, Medium and High CHIRP up to 1 kW, DownScan (455/800 kHz and CHIRP 700/1200 kHz) and SideScan (455/800 kHz and CHIRP 455/1075 kHz). It is also ready for Active Imaging HD and ActiveTarget 2 Live Sonar.
Can I network the HDS PRO with other displays and sensors?
Yes. The HDS PRO has two 100BASE-T Ethernet ports for radar, sonar modules such as ActiveTarget 2 or S3100, and additional displays, plus a NMEA 2000 port for compasses, engine data and other sensors, and a NMEA 0183 interface.
Is the HDS PRO waterproof?
Yes. The HDS PRO carries an IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof rating and is tested to 100,000 cycles of 20 G shock and vibration for the marine environment.
What charts does the HDS PRO use?
The HDS PRO is supplied with the latest and most detailed C-MAP charts and supports C-MAP Genesis Live, which builds detailed bathymetric maps in real time as you fish.
